ALMATY, Kazakhstan (AP) — Kazakhstan's president says the death of 14 border guards and a park ranger earlier this week at a remote frontier outpost was an act of terrorism. President Nursultan Nazarbayev said Friday that law enforcement agencies are working to track down those responsible for the deaths. He gave no indications about who he believed might have been behind the incident. The bodies of fifteen people had been found over the past two days among the charred remains at the outpost, near the border with China. The exact circumstance that led to the deaths is still unclear. Authorities say one more person, also believed to be serving at the outpost, has not been located.
