A radical Islamist posted a threat against the “forces of Satan, perverts and homosexuals” responsible for the Eurovision Song Contest on a jihadist website. The competition will take place in Baku from 22-26 May. On 6 April, police said they had launched counter-terrorism operations against alleged terrorists responsible for attacks in Gandja, during which a suicide bomber detonated explosives, killing a police officer.
