LIBREVILLE, Gabon (AP) — Authorities say four people have survived a DHL cargo plane crash in the Central African nation of Gabon. The plane went down Monday morning, coming to rest with its nose buried in the low tide just off the coast near a major high school. Gabon's Transport Ministry said the plane had been given permission to land in the capital when the pilot alerted there had been a hydraulic problem. The ministry said that the four people on board later taken to a hospital were a Bulgarian crew member and two Ukranian crew members, as well as a Gabonese passenger. The government said it would open an investigation into the crash, and ban flights involving that type of cargo plane until further notice.
