A fire at a baggage holding area prompted the temporary evacuation of Domodedovo International Airport in Moscow and delayed some 40 flights. The fire began at around 0700hrs local time, but officials say it was fully extinguished by 0810hrs. No delays were reported regarding arriving flights, but some 40 departing services suffered some disruption. While the airport is now back at near normal levels, some residual delays should be anticipated.
