Military officials say at least 30 people have been killed in two suspected suicide bombings in the northern town of Kerawa. The bomb blasts occurred in a busy market and within 200m of the main military base in the town. While no group has claimed responsibility, it is suspected that Boko Haram militants carried out the attacks. The group launched similar attacks in the region in July, killing more than 50 people.
