Services on Vienna’s S-Bahn trains suffered delays on 5 August after thieves stole a significant amount of copper cabling. Services between Wien-Meidling and Huttleldorf were disrupted, although trains began operating again during the evening. Rail officials state it is the first case of cable theft for five months in the capital.
