SKOPJE, Macedonia (AP) — Macedonian police are searching a popular tourist lake for three Hungarian tourists who disappeared after setting out in kayaks. Ohrid police spokesman Stefan Dimoski said Thursday that a janitor at a campground raised the alarm, saying the Hungarians had not returned from the lake on Wednesday. Their vehicle was still in a parking lot. Dimoski said three patrols had gone out on the lake since Wednesday and had seen no signs of an accident. He said the search would continue, although there was a possibility the tourists had headed to the Albanian side of the lake. Lake Ohrid, located some 190 kilometers (about 120 miles) southwest of the capital Skopje, is a popular tourist destination in Macedonia.
