Typhoon Talim Targeting Japan With High Winds, Flooding Rain This Weekend After Hammering Southwest Ryukyu Islands

At a Glance Intense Typhoon Talim will curl toward southwest Japan this weekend.Fortunately, it has largely brushed or missed Taiwan and Okinawa, but did rake the southwest Ryukyu Islands.Rainfall flooding and landslides, along with damaging winds, will be the main threats from Talim in western Japan.Also spinning in the western Pacific is Typhoon Doksuri, which will impact China's Hainan Island and Vietnam.
