Weather forecasters warn heavy rainfall has led to many wadis in the interior region to overflow. Fishermen in the South Sharqiyah, North Sharqiyah, Wusta and Dhofar governorates are also warned to stay away from the sea. Heavy rainfall has also fallen on the Quriyat, Amerat and Muttrah districts of Muscat.
