The Azeri Defence Ministry accused Armenian forces of violating the ceasefire after three soldiers were killed the day earlier near the disputed Nagorno-Karabakh border region, including two Azeri troops and one Armenian. Armenia has responded to the allegations claiming that Azerbaijan provoked the fighting. Tensions are rising between the two countries on the eve of a regional visit by French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
